Apply to clean skin. Avoid sensitive areas and mucus membranes.
We recommend applying liberally to larger areas of skin such as your torso, legs and arms, to help maximize absorption.
Can be used as a daily moisturizer.
Is there a maximum daily limit for using Ancient Minerals topcially?
No. The skin has a unique ability to self-regulate absorption, and therefore overuse is of little concern.
Is magnesium lotion beneficial for skin conditions?
Magnesium lotion can be therapeutic for skin conditions, however, if you have broken skin or a large portion of your body is affected, we recommend starting with magnesium bath flakes.
Can magnesium lotion be applied on top of magnesium oil?
To give your skin adequate time to absorb the magnesium oil, we recommend waiting approximately 20 minutes before applying lotion on top of magnesium oil.
Can I add essential oils to the magnesium lotion?
If you are familiar with essential oils, then you know there are a variety to choose from and that each of them can be used for specific purposes, such as lavender for relaxation. Essential oils can be added to the magnesium lotion, however this will affect the formula and preservative system, thereby nullifying the expiration date. We recommend adding essential oils to a small amount of lotion in a separate container, to maintain the formula and expiration date within the original container.
